Eligibility Criteria

  • All landholding farmers' families with cultivable landholding in their names are eligible to receive benefits under the scheme.
  • Exclusions: Institutional landholders, farmer families holding constitutional posts, serving/retired government employees, pensioners (₹10,000+), income tax payers, and professionals (doctors, engineers, etc.) are not eligible.

📋 How to Apply, Check Status & Do e-KYC Online

1. How to Check PM Kisan Beneficiary Status

1. Visit the official portal pmkisan.gov.in.
2. Under the 'Farmers Corner' section, click on "Know Your Status".
3. Enter your PM Kisan Registration Number and fill in the Captcha code.
4. Click on 'Get OTP'. An OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar-registered mobile number.
5. Enter the OTP and click submit. Your complete beneficiary details, e-KYC status, Aadhaar seeding status, and the details of your last received installment will appear on the screen.

2. How to Complete Mandatory e-KYC

Note: e-KYC is mandatory to receive PM Kisan installments. If your status shows e-KYC as "NO", follow these steps:
1. Click on the "e-KYC" option in the Farmers Corner.
2. Enter your Aadhaar number and click 'Search'.
3. Enter your Aadhaar-linked mobile number and click 'Get Mobile OTP'.
4. Submit the OTP. Then click 'Get Aadhaar OTP'.
5. Enter the final Aadhaar OTP and click 'Submit for Authentication'. A success message will confirm your e-KYC update.

3. New Farmer Registration Process

1. On the portal, select "New Farmer Registration".
2. Choose whether you are a Rural or Urban farmer.
3. Enter your Aadhaar Number, Mobile Number, and select your State.
4. Verify via OTP.
5. Fill in the comprehensive registration form, including personal details, bank details, and precise land holding details (Khatauni/Khasra numbers).
6. Upload the required land documents in PDF format and click Save. Note down the generated application ID for future tracking.
